Everything about the Yes Basic
Everything about the Yes Basic
The Basic has been developed as a go-to, ride-it-all deck and has been refined over the years to the point that both pros and beginners regularly reach for it.

The UnderBite outline provides more arc, more grip, and a better carving experience on any board from Yes, and the Basic was the origin of it all.

By combining camber and rocker, the board is both responsive and buoyant.
Yes Basic: The perfect mix of form, function, and style
The Yes Basic is the result of a continuous quest for perfection. Yes has explored every possibility to improve the Basic, but time and again, the original shape and riding experience proved unmatched. Instead of changing something that was already exceptional, they decided to retain all the remarkable features of the Basic while refining the visual design.
Advanced technology for a smooth ride
With a subtler CamRock profile, the Yes Basic offers exactly the forgiveness you want without compromising the necessary drive. This makes the board ideal for both beginners and experienced snowboarders looking for a reliable and versatile ride. The True Twin shape ensures that you perform equally well in both directions, boosting your confidence regardless of your riding style.
Refined UnderBite for superior carve turns
The UnderBite outline has been further refined to enhance the arc, grip, and overall carving experience. This technology distributes weight at strategic points along the edges, giving you more control during turns and an improved edge hold. Whether you are carving on hard-packed slopes or gliding through soft snow, the Yes Basic provides a stable and responsive ride.
Art and Design in Harmony
The visual design of the Yes Basic has been created by the talented artist Guillaume Rousseaux. His artwork adds a unique aesthetic to the board, making it not only functional but also visually appealing. The extruded base ensures durability and ease of maintenance, while the 5/10 flex offers a perfect balance between softness and stiffness.
Experience the origin of snowboard perfection
The Yes Basic represents the origin of snowboard excellence, where the fundamental elements of snowboarding come together harmoniously. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, the Basic offers an unforgettable experience on the mountain. Experience for yourself why the Yes Basic embodies the essence of snowboarding and elevate your ride to the next level.

Technische specificaties
Nidecker Snowboards offers you an extra year of warranty against manufacturer defects. Register your board HERE to extend your warranty from two to three years.
Extruded base is softer than a sintered base, which is not necessarily bad. At the speeds that many drive, this material is even faster since it accelerates more quickly.
Yes basic core for the construction of wood core snowboards from nose to tail. Ensures a predictable balance between durability, consistent flex, and lightweight.
Biaxial fiberglass, used in snowboards, offers flexibility and responsiveness, allowing snowboarders to experience a more playful ride. It is ideal for freestyle riders and beginners due to its forgiveness and torsional stiffness.
The UnderBite edge design redistributes the rider's weight, improves turn ease and edge grip by creating notches in the binding area. These notches reduce the surface area of the edge that contacts the snow while turning, which increases the pressure on the edge and concentrates your weight/energy on the areas that initiate, hold, and release turns.
The response of camber with the buoyancy of rocker. By combining camber and rocker, you can make the board both responsive and buoyant.
A snowboard where the shape and dimensions are completely symmetrical, both in length and width.
