Our Tuned Fit System allows riders to adjust their fit with different thicknesses of the included pads. Each size comes in a different color, making it easy to select the right pads and customize the helmet to the shape of the head. It is crucial to adjust the helmet with these pads for optimal comfort and safety. For example, the slightly thicker pads can be mounted at the back of the head, while the pads at the front can be thinner, or vice versa.
TSG helmets are designed with anatomy in mind, featuring a base shape that follows the exact curves of the human head. This results in the TSG Snug Fit, where the helmet wraps around the head. This makes the helmet appear less bulky and provides a better fit. The sides and back of the helmet have more curvature and distinctly curve inward, unlike other helmets that go straight down. The result is a contact ring inside the helmet, where the head touches the helmet all around.
In addition to better fit, helmets with Snug Fit appear less bulky. More force is required to lift the TSG helmet off the head compared to competing models, which is essential to ensure that the helmet does not shift during use and especially stays in the correct position even in a fall.
