The Altai is built around an asymmetrical upper that seamlessly fits Nidecker and Flow binding straps, eliminating pressure points and ensuring a perfect fit. The Dual Dial BOA® Fit System features textile-coated laces and dual dials, allowing you to separately adjust the upper and lower sections of the boot for ultimate control and comfort.
Underneath the boot, our lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 outsole provides impressive cushioning and traction, with a rubber toe for added grip when walking over ice and rocks. We have optimized the connection between the outsole and the boot using a molded section we call the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent snagging in the heel cup of your binding.
Inside the Altai, there is a new heat-moldable Silver liner, which allows you to customize the fit as desired but is also comfortable right out of the box. The Altai is a medium-stiff boot that provides enough lateral support, making it ideal for carving deep lines on the slopes or navigating through the trees with precision. Ready for anything. Designed to be resilient. From the park to the podium, H4 withstands the impact of the most demanding snowboarders. The Coiler automatically takes up the slack in the laces, increases the speed of getting into the boot, and offers a precise fit that allows for micro-adjustments.
An extra layer of high-density EVA supports the deep heel cup and the anatomical arch, while more comfortable EVA offers increased flexibility in the forefoot. A silicone top print provides traction to the fleece-lined footbed.
This liner has been completely redesigned and has no pressure points; the closure happens via the cuff that is attached to the inside of the shell. This makes the liner easy to put on and take off.
