The Altai is built around an asymmetrical upper that seamlessly pairs with Nidecker and Flow binding straps, eliminating pressure points and ensuring a perfect fit. The Dual Dial BOA® Fit System features textile-coated laces and dual knobs, allowing you to adjust the upper and lower part of the boot separately for ultimate control and comfort.
Underneath, our lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 outsole provides impressive cushioning and traction, with a rubber toe for extra grip when walking on ice and rocks. We have optimized the connection between the outsole and the boot using a molded section that we call the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent snagging in the heel cup of your binding.
Inside the Altai, you will find a new heat-moldable Silver liner that allows you to customize the fit as desired, while also being comfortable right out of the box. The Altai is a boot with medium stiffness, providing sufficient lateral support, making it ideal for carving deep tracks on the groomers or floating with precision through the trees. Ready for anything. Designed to withstand. From the park to the stage, H4 withstands the impact of the most demanding snowboarders. The Coiler automatically takes up the slack in the laces, increases the speed of step-in, and provides a precise fit that allows for micro-adjustments.
An extra layer of high-density EVA supports the deep heel piece and the anatomical arch, while more comfortable EVA provides flexibility in the forefoot. A silicone top print offers traction to the fleece-lined insole.
This liner has been completely redesigned and has no pressure points; the closure is done via the cuff that is attached to the inside of the shell. This also makes the liner easy to put on and take off.
