Waxing and grinding. co.uk has collaborated with Holmenkol to adjust the grinding kit, which in my opinion is an improvement. This new set provides everything you need for waxing and grinding skis and snowboards, all for the same price as the old set. The set is now more complete as the edge trick whetstone and the red diamond file have been replaced with a blue diamond file and an S-file.
With the blue diamond file, you can effectively remove burrs, while the S-file ensures minimal loss of the steel edge during grinding.
The set includes:
- The ErgoSemi with an edge file L.
- An edge file S
- A coarse diamond file for polishing the edges and removing coarser burrs
- An edge rubber for deburring the beginning and end of the ski or snowboard
- The corresponding bag, as shown in the photo
For recreational use, this set is more than sufficient. However, if you want to perform very thorough maintenance and improve your edges even further, a fine diamond file can be a valuable addition. With this complete set, you can optimally prepare your equipment for the best performance on the slopes.
