To maintain the quality of your Dakine leather gloves, carefully follow the care instructions. Hand wash them with mild soap and warm water, gently pressing out excess water before hanging them to dry. Avoid turning the mittens inside out during cleaning and allow them to dry at room temperature, if possible. Dakine recommends treating your leather gloves/mittens with Nikwax to maintain waterproofing. Perform a color test on a small area before applying Nikwax to the entire mitt, spreading it evenly and rubbing it into all leather parts. Treat your mittens every 30 days and after washing for optimal waterproofing, ensuring they remain your reliable companion in winter.
